Vijay’s next is ‘Kobam’ after Sura

Vijay who is busy re-shooting part of vettaikkaran song, seeman contacted vijay over phone and narrated the story line. Vijay after hearing the base story immediately accepted to do this. Seeman who is currently busy shooting for his “Magizchi”, penning the scripts and making all elements which suits vijay. Seeman approached various actors for the lead role. Firstly, the script was written keeping madhavan as lead. Since madhavan got busy with bollywood, could not commit for the movie. Then approached ajith and finally landed up in vijay’s hands.Vijay is expected to start rolling the camera soon after “Sura” is completed.

Much prior to Vijay’s ‘Vettaikaran’ would hit the screens in December; the entire town has turned his focus on his next project ‘Sura’. The first schedule has been already completed and Vijay is so enthralled with the fantastic canning by SP. Rajkumar.

Well, now it’s all about the second schedule that had recently kick-started in the backdrops of exotic locales of Pondichery beaches. But, it isn’t the same shores, every often we spotted in other films. Director Rajkumar had persistently kept looking for a new location in backdrops of seas and zeroed down on a never-never land like of locale.

Sources have revealed that other schedules may also be scheduled across the seashores since the entire film is based on this conceptualization.

Sun Pictures bags Ilayathalapathi Vijay’s much-celebrated 50th Film Sura Rights

Ilayathalapathi Vijay’s much-celebrated Vettaikkaaran, slated for December 18 release. At this delight, here comes another good news for vijay and vijay fans.

Yes Sun Pictures bags Sura Rights too. The Kollywood’s most prominent production and distribution house Sun Pictures will be the distributor of Sura too. Kalanidhi Maran-owned media giant has bagged yet another Vijay starrer Sura, which happens to be Vijay’s 50th film, being directed by S.P. Rajkumar and produced by Sangili Murugan.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s 50th film Sura shooting has started in Pondicherry from today. As per sources some important action sequences for the movie will be shot there. A huge set has been erected in Pondy for shooting of the film.

Vijay and Tamanna will take part in the five day shoot. Sura is being directed by SP Rajkumar, who has earlier directed Alagar Malai earlier.

As per director, the action scenes in the film will be a highlight. Telugu blockbuster Maghadheera villain Dev Gill is playing the villain in sura.

Sura also features Vadivelu and Sriman. The music for the film has been scored by Mani Sharma while editing is done by

Sun Pictures who has acquired the marketing rights of the film is planning to release the movie big this summer. Sura will surely be a huge treat for all Vijay fans!!!

Ilayathalapathy Vijay after finishing the project “Vettaikaaran” without any break begins his next flick named “Sura”. If you had a good memory think of what Vijay said a year before that “he was keen to remake the Mohan Lal’s Malayalam flick “Chotta Mumbai”. According to a close source the movie is visualized in the coastal areas of Kerala. The movie script suggests it would have two actresses in which Actress Tamanna will be leading the pair with our Ilayathalapathy Vijay and another heroineis not yet confirmed. Still the storyline of the movie was kept secret by the entire crew of the film.Vijay has commenced shooting for his 50th film 'Sura' in Kerala. The movie is directed by S P Raajkumar and produced by Sangili Murugan.

Interestingly, it was Sangili Murugan who had produced the actor’s blockbuster 'Kadhalukku Mariyadhai' a decade ago.Raajkumar, who directed a couple of comedy capers ('En Purushan Kuzhandhai Madhiri' and 'Ponmanam') earlier, recently churned out 'Azhagarmalai' starring RK.Tamannah plays the ladylove of Vijay in the movie which has Vadivelu in it. Manisharma has been roped in to score the music. The movie features Vijay playing the role of a fisherman, according to reliable sources.

The producers of the movie and Vijay has planeed to complete the movie shooting before march 2010 and to release the film on Vijay birthday on June 22, 2010.
